There is only one mode option that not read change event.  initial_only

But initial_only do snapshot all table.list when  starting connector.  it is unnessesary . 

I want to  periodically batch sync. 

1. capture scheme and table structure(in tables.list) 
2. waiting snapshot signal 
3. do snapshot
4. go to 2 

schema_only is capture structure and start read event.  

so real schema_only_without_read_event need
