I'm not sure whether the nested listeners approach is the best idea, it seems at least uncommon. Also for sure it shouldn't be needed to delegate to all other listeners, e.g. when parsing a CREATE TABLE statement, it shouldn't be required to delegate to the ALTER TABLE listener.
