Currently there's code in the connector-specific REST extensions to retrieve the matching collections/tables for the applied filters. This code should be added to the connector implementations (MySqlConnector, PostgresConnector, OracleConnector, ...) with an interface.

The interface could/should then be used inside the connectors and from the REST extensions to retrieve the list of matching tables/collections.
