Currently the connector pauses for 500 ms if call to cursor.tryNext() returns null (which means current batch is consumed and new batch is not available). This value can have significant performance impact especially in cases when data producers utilise bulk writes heavily.

To allowed for better performance tuning the pause period should be configurable.
