Maintanence branch builds on connector repos should build against proper branch

When a 1.9 branch is build on a connector repo like https://github.com/debezium/debezium-connector-cassandra/runs/7523273216?check_suite_focus=true is built than it uses main from the main repo.
This is incorrect and in this case it even prevents building PRs.
