For now it's unclear, which connectors properties may cause it's total reset and which could be applied or change without interfering into current progress. If such extreme behavior is by-design it would be more than welcome to have a list of properties, which cannot be changed without significant consequences & which are for simple "tweaking" purposes. Looking forward for such documentation improvement, so no one will end up in the same unpleasant situation/astonishment.
