In issue #11 on the UI PoC issues on Gihub the architectural question was raised, if we could remove the dependency of one specific version of Debezium connector packages.

In order to get rid of the dependency I suggest we implement some Debezium specific JAX-RS extensions that can be plugged into Kafka Connect with custom endpoints to make remote calls to Kafka Connect instead shipping the complete connector packages with the backend UI.
