    Description

      Following this bug https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-10387 I am unable to use topic creation feature with SMT feature for my debezium connector.

       

      This bug has been fixed in version 2.6.1.

       

      Could you update the KAFKA_VERSION in https://github.com/debezium/docker-images/blob/master/kafka/1.4/Dockerfile from 2.6.0 to 2.6.1 (or go to 2.7.0) to fix it.

      connect image depends on connect-base which depends on kafka image.

       

      2.6.1 is not released yet
