SchemaValidationException coming up for DDL statement execution when using debezium connector for Postgres and trying to push to Pulsar topic

trying to do a POC using the debezium connector for database replication. DMLS are working fine. But when there is a DDL statement  execution in Postgres, the pulsar log is reporting SchemaValidationException. 

Pulsar 2.6.0

Debezium : pulsar-io-debezium-postgres-2.6.0.nar

database: postgres

Does debezium support DDL statements and push to Pulsar topic? If so please provide us an insight on the connectors and settings , the configs and whatever required
