Currently the DecoderBufs-based implementation will fail when receiving any unknown operation events such as the BEGIN/END events introduced via ~~DBZ-1052~~. It should be more lenient and simply discard such events, in order to allow for a more loosely coupled upgrade of connector and database plug-in.
