      $ centpkg new-sources /mnt/scratch/nbdkit-1.44.1.tar.gz*
      Uploading: /mnt/scratch/nbdkit-1.44.1.tar.gz to https://sources.stream.rdu2.redhat.com/lookaside/upload.cgi
      Network error: (55, 'OpenSSL SSL_write: error:80000020:system library::Broken pipe, errno 32')
      Error checking for nbdkit-1.44.1.tar.gz at https://sources.stream.rdu2.redhat.com/lookaside/upload.cgi
      (55, 'OpenSSL SSL_write: error:80000020:system library::Broken pipe, errno 32')

      The error takes about 5 minutes to appear (ie. centpkg appears to hang for ages). I also used --verbose but nothing useful was printed.

      That machine can fetch https://sources.stream.rdu2.redhat.com/lookaside/upload.cgi fine, so it does not appear to be a network / VPN problem.

      centpkg-0.10.0-3.el9.noarch
      python3-rpkg-1.68-3.el9.noarch

      on an up to date RHEL 9.6 host.
