With the impending availability of CentOS Stream 10, we should consider whether we want to change the "default branch" that users see when they browse to repositories on Gitlab.
At present, this is defaulting to `c9s`, largely because this was the first release we did there. However, once CS 10 is out, that might be confusing.
I see the following options:
- Leave it as-is with the default branch as `c9s` and re-evaluate when CS 9 goes EOL. This will result in the least change for users.
- Switch it to use CS 10 by default. Set a precedent that the latest active release is always the default.
- Populate a default branch that is not tied to any release that provides just a README.md explaining the available branches.
