We are unable to connect to the DevSpaces plugin in JetBrains Gateway in a corporate environment. Tested on pure Windows 11 with Norton Antivirus and VPN enabled, where it works.
However, it is not effective in a corporate environment, where there are likely more restrictions. We need to know which ports are used to connect to release them and whitelist.
We can see these errors:
2025-04-25 12:10:29,532 [ 195287] INFO - #c.j.g.GatewayProtocolHandler - Open: type=devspaces&dwNamespace=ictsritip-devspaces-user1234&dwName=empty-xi1l&link=tcp://127.0.0.1:5990#jt=7dc58322-a8f3-476f-ab23-0fe15ca6df40_p=IU_fp=978A33F109E414B3AEE2B72702048CD1CE99CD252867905E1A20072409E42994_cb=243.23654.153_newUi=true_jb=21.0.5b631.30 via GatewayConnectionHandler
Therefore, port 5990 on localhost is likely in use.
When temporarily disabled Symantec Antivirus, the result is the same. It is not even possible to see open workspaces in the test page for the DevSpaces plugin when the user is logged in.
