Background:
Currently, the Devfile Assistant ChatGPT [1] offers guidance for creating devfiles. To improve open-source AI capabilities, we propose adding Devfile-related knowledge to the Granite LLM through InstructLab [2]. This will allow the development of an open-source LLM with the same Devfile expertise as ChatGPT.

Knowledge Contributions:
