Description of problem:  

VS Code API findFiles cannot find the files in the current workspace. File filter (Command/Control + P) not searching files, this may be related to findFiles API returning an empty array

CPU tracker logging error every second in the dev console.

Prerequisites (if any, like setup, operators/versions):

OpenShift 4.12.24 installed on IBM Power
DevSpaces 3.8

Steps to Reproduce

use Command/Control + P to search any file in current workspace by its name

it shows no matching results even though the file actually exists in the workspace.

Check the dev console for errors.
