Customer is trying to build a custom registry following doc[1].
The meta.yaml manifest has an entry pointing to the on-prem Bitbucket server repository where the devfile.yaml is stored.

Devworkspace generate fails and it seems that devworkspace-generator does not support Bitbucket server repositories and defaults to implicit assumption made by the build script that URLs inside the meta.yamls are always hosted on Github.

Reason for Feature enhancement:

• Customer likes to be able to disable the out-of-the-box samples shown in the "Create Workspace" landing page and substitute these for internally custom curated devfiles based in a custom devfile registry.
• using on-prem Bit bucket server repository where the devfile.yaml is stored and that is failing. So, this request is to have support for this provided added.
