If the identity provider changes, the user are different from an OpenShift point of view. That explains why old user cannot find his previous workspaces. Closing this issue.
If an admin switch from one OpenShift Identity Provider to another, users to lose access to their workspaces. It looks like Dev Spaces maintains some records in the PostgreSQL database, which get out of sync with the OpenShift IdP.
The only recourse is to completely un-install DevSpaces and start over.
