      Before this update, the creation of a workspace from a public repository hosted on a GitLab server instance without configured OAuth was failing. With this update, the issue is fixed.

      Check that the gitlab server OAuth provider is NOT configured . Try to start a factory from a public repository of gitlab server Url, e.g. https://devspaces.apps.ocp411.crw-qe.com/f?url=https://gitlab.cee.redhat.com/oshmarai/public-gitlab-repo.git See an error

      • When trying to create a factory from a public repo of gitLab server without configured OAuth, the process fails with an error:
      dasboard start workspace page
      Failed to create the workspace
Failed to request factory resolver: Error occurred during creation a workspace from devfile located at `https://gitlab.cee.redhat.com/oshmarai/public-gitlab-repo.git`. Cause: Neither of `apiVersion` or `schemaVersion` found. This is not a valid devfile.
      • Tested on OCP 4.11 PSI infrastructure (!)
