During the merge of one of the PRs to the CRW Jenkins gitlab repo, the PR Check pipeline reported success, despite the actual code containing a syntax error, which should've caused the job configurator to fail.

Nothing immediately is suspicious about it, but it probably failed to checkout to merge commit (which introduced the syntax error) and checked out the commit before it
