Jupyter Notebook brings error "....js is not a valid file name"

      User attempting to open Jupyter Notebook via 'Python: Create new blank Jupyter Notebook' gets an error message that includes:
      /tmp/vscode-unpacked/ms-python.python.latest.jjhqjsypkw.vscode-python-2020.7.94776.vsix/extension/out/datascience-ui/notebook/require.js, /tmp/vscode-unpacked/ms-python.python.latest.jjhqjsypkw.vscode-python-2020.7.94776.vsix/extension/out/datascience-ui/notebook/ipywidgets.js, /tmp/vscode-unpacked/ms-python.python.latest.jjhqjsypkw.vscode-python-2020.7.94776.vsix/extension/out/datascience-ui/notebook/monaco.bundle.js, /tmp/vscode-unpacked/ms-python.python.latest.jjhqjsypkw.vscode-python-2020.7.94776.vsix/extension/out/datascience-ui/notebook/commons.initial.bundle.js, /tmp/vscode-unpacked/ms-python.python.latest.jjhqjsypkw.vscode-python-2020.7.94776.vsix/extension/out/datascience-ui/notebook/nativeEditor.js is not a valid file name

       

      This error message is similar to the one noted in community issue 20057 [1].
