Unable to checkout repository to a different branch

      1. Create a Python Workspace
      2. Try to clone for example git@github.com:rludva/trepository.git
      3. Try to switch to origin/nbranch using the Ctrl+Shift+P, Git: Checkout to.. and selecting origin/nbranch
      4. A new textbox is displayed instead of processing the checkout.

      Workspace IDE (GUI) is not processing git checkout when "Git: Checkout to.." is selected from the Command Palette. When trying to checkout to an existing branch there is an error message about the existing branch and GUI is always trying to create a new branch.
