Git gives misleading instructions, will not commit change.

      1)  Open a devfile, use a git repo for the source

      2)  Start the workspace, make some change.  Note the 'source control' gadget.  (It will acknowledge 'Staged changes', see attached screenshot.)

      3) Note the UI telling you that pressing 'Control and Enter' will make a commit, but this does not work.

      When using a devfile with a git repo, the CRW 2.5.1 UI tells the user to use 'Control + Enter to commit', but this functionality does not work.

       

      As seen in the attached screenshot, source changes are recognized (and are said to be staged), but there is no way to commit them.
