   RHEL 7 EOL is approaching (June 2024) and we still have some services running on RHEL7 machines.

[Badges](https://badges.fedoraproject.org/) are one of these services and we need to do something about it.

Current state of things:

• Support for Fedora Messaging is missing
• Python 3 support is complicated as there are plenty of dependencies not available in Python 3
