Attribute the cost of Signals from OpenShift Container Platform

EMEA based Customer needing to comply to PCI-DSS4.0 and BAFIN regulations have the mandatory need to document Signal consumption.

Attributing the cost of Signals splits up into the currently available signals as follows:

• Logging
  • Capacity Volume of logs created by Pod/Container/Namespace
  • Event Volume of logs created by Pod/Container/Namespace
• Metrics
  • Capacity of scraped samples by Pod/Service/Container/Namespace
  • Queries of scraped sample by Pod/Service/Container/Namespace
• Traces
  • Capacity Volume of traces collected by Pod/Container/Namespace
  • Event Volume of traces created by Pod/Container/Namespace
• Events
  • Capacity Volume of events created by Pod/Container/Namespace
  • Event volume of events created by Pod/Container/Namespace
