      Describe your problem.
We are currently facing several pain points with the existing API's data retrieval capabilities. Specifically, we have noticed that the current API does not present sufficient information unless we utilize the groupby functionality. Additionally, the limitation of groupby operations to only two parameters is restrictive, often forcing us to implement multiple loops to gather the comprehensive information we require. This not only complicates our data retrieval process but also adds significant overhead in terms of normalizing the data afterward.

To improve our experience and streamline our workflow, we propose the development of a Flat File API that would allow us to retrieve data in a more straightforward and comprehensive manner. This would eliminate the need for excessive looping and normalization, enabling us to access the information we need efficiently.

We believe that this feature could greatly enhance the usability of your API and improve the overall user experience. Thank you for considering our request. We look forward to your response and hope to see this enhancement in future updates.

      Business Impact

Increased Efficiency: By reducing the need for multiple loops and complex data normalization, the Flat File API would streamline data retrieval processes. This efficiency can lead to faster decision-making, as teams can access the information they need without unnecessary delays.

Cost Savings: The time saved in data processing translates to cost savings for the business. Employees can focus on higher-value tasks rather than spending time on cumbersome data manipulation, ultimately leading to better resource allocation.

Improved Data Accuracy: Simplifying the data retrieval process reduces the chances of errors that may occur during complex data manipulation. This can enhance the accuracy of the information used for analysis, reporting, and strategic decisions, leading to more reliable business outcomes.

Enhanced User Experience: A more user-friendly API will likely lead to increased satisfaction among users, both internal and external. This can foster greater adoption of the API and encourage teams to leverage the data more effectively, which can drive innovation and improve overall productivity.

Better Insights: With easier access to comprehensive data, teams can derive deeper insights and make more informed decisions. This can lead to improved strategies, better customer understanding, and ultimately a stronger competitive advantage in the market.

Scalability: As the business grows, the need for efficient data handling becomes even more critical. A Flat File API can provide a scalable solution that adapts to increasing data demands without complicating the workflow.

Faster Time to Market: If development teams can access data more quickly and efficiently, they can respond to market changes and customer needs more promptly. This agility can be crucial in maintaining a competitive edge.

In summary, the introduction of a Flat File API could lead to significant operational improvements, cost savings, and enhanced strategic capabilities, ultimately contributing to the business's growth and success.
