Instead of increasing the CPU request, limit, etc, if your application is prepared, it might be better to keep them at the same size but have more (or less) pods. Advise the user like “this is the total amount of memory and CPU we estimate you need, now you decide whether you want to have one large container or ten smaller ones”.
