COST-3042Non-Cloud: Cost Management for virtual machines
-
100% To Do, 0% In Progress, 0% Done
COST-4403, COST-4788 and COST-4789 made Cost Management able to report virtual machines running on AWS, Azure and GCP, respectively. They are reported inside the compute service of each of the clusters.
We also have support for Cloud Native Virtualization (KubeVirt) but we treat it as just any other OpenShift namespace.
We have an OpenShift page where we show all of the OCP clusters a user may have, no matter whether they are running on AWS, Azure, GCP or on premise.
Similarly, we should have a dedicated page, at the same level as OpenShift, AWS, GCP, etc on the left-hand side, that consolidates all of the virtual machines a customer may have, no matter whether they are running on AWS, Azure, GCP or on premise.
NB1: I'm saying "virtual machines" but this could also be bare metal machines.
NB2: for consistency, wherever we have "All OpenShift", "AWS filtered by OpenShift", etc, should we add "All RHEL", "All AWS filtered by RHEL", etc?
