We're currently having a debug issue with Chrome; apparently, due to webpack-dev-server.

It's recommended that we try updating to version 4.x, if possible.

According to the library maintainers, it will be fixed in v4 of the library which is now in beta. You could potentially use the beta version right now if hot reload is must-have for you. See: https://github.com/webpack/webpack-dev-server/issues/2961#issuecomment-758623117 – Martin

The debugging issue has been a huge pain, so it would be very helpful to get our development environment working properly.
