      Epic Goal

      • Add a single gating test for every CoreOS owned package so the testing an be expanded later.

      Why is this important?

      • The CoreOS QE team has relied on upstream (in github/gitlab) and downstream (during RHCOS builds) testing of CoreOS owned packages. There is currently no testing at the package level. Since CoreOS owned packages are all in RHEL9 and other teams are using the packages adding gating tests will catch issues earlier. It will also allow other teams (automotive, edge, etc) to share our tests.

      Acceptance Criteria

      • There is infrastructure for the gating test to run
      • Test is triggered by UMB message from brew, executes test, and sends UMB message with results back to the dashboard.

      Dependencies (internal and external)

      • Infrastructure to run gating test
