A large G2K customer who is planning to use Nutanix Openshift Marketplace item to deploy a cluster at the Nutanix Edge site.
Their concern is network connectivity and bandwidth, due to the site's poor connectivity.
As every openshift IPI deployment is pulling a CoreOS image, it ends up with same image downloaded multiple times.
Two questions have been raised : * Can we have a workaround to ensure the Core OS image that is pulled by Openshift IPI isn't pushed again on the target Nutanix cluster if the image exists already? (like just checking the image checksum before initiating the entire image to be pushed again)
- Would it be realistic and possible to ask via a Jira ticket for the possibility to provide a way to the IPI installer to allows to use an existing image which isn't pulled everytime an Openshift cluster is deployed?
