Annotations are heavy when we have a lot of networks and become too big

Unmarshalling them takes even more time, every update, every controllers goes crazy

Internally we have been working on a PoC for nodeNetworkCR to replace annotations but it is unlikely we are going to be able to introduce it in the current release.
