Support the Collection of iPerf Data in OpenShift

XMLWordPrintable

Goal: Support the ability to collect iPerf data in OpenShift using the "oc adm" CLI.

Problem: Collecting iPerf data can be difficult and time-consuming. Support engineers, following the instructions in this KCS, spend large amounts of time collecting iPerf data from different areas within OpenShift clusters, or rely upon customers to execute those steps, and would be greatly assisted with some tooling around this.

      Dependencies (internal and external):

      • Package iPerf (add to network check images?)
      • Coordinate with Node team to make sure we implement it in a similar way (and share resources where appropriate)

Prioritized epics + deliverables (in scope / not in scope):

      Not in scope:

      • GUI

      Estimate (XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL): M
