At +10k vm's (cnv) the OCP console becomes unusable (hangs)

      the perf/scale team is scaling out vm (cnv) count to test various scenerios. Under vm counts of 10k plus the console becomes unnavigable or just hangs trying to load. 

      I've instantiated a "private" console just to try to debug a little more in-depth, bumping up replica count. I've also disabled promethues, which seems to mitigate console delays as the "Cluster inventory" cards, whitch I believe query via kube-api diriectly, are navigable at that count, but the OCP console is not. So maybe it's combination of the former and "Cluster utilization" which pulls from promethues via thanos queries could be like a "perfect storm" effect?
