The current OSBuild composer provides users only the option to choose the distribution (blueprint `distro` attribute) or to override the payload repositories by placing the preferred ones to `/etc/osbuild-composer/repositories`

However, the hosted Image Builder API service doesn't provide such a feature and the users can only choose from the release distributions.
