As prt of https://issues.redhat.com/browse/VIRTSTRAT-132 we are planning to provide more insights into machine types and the needs to update them as they won't be updated along with CNV or OpenShift - only templates and default will change for new VMs.

Can we provide a support matrix similar to our list of certified guests that cover what machine types you can run them on (based on what we have tested)?

For the customer this is not very transparent to understand the impact of changing the machine type including i.e. 9.4 to 9.6.
