- What is the nature and description of the request? By default, the OpenShift Virtualization plugin detects Windows hosts and auto-sets ansible_connection to winrm. PSRP is a newer connection protocol that sits on top of winrm and is generally recommended by the Ansible Windows team. Also, with newer Windows hosts, ssh is also possible and may be preferred by customers
- Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here) Customers want to leverage the more stable psrp connection for Windows automation (and in some cases ssh for newer Windows hosts)
- How would you like to achieve this? (List the functional requirements here). Add a variable to set the default ansible_connection for windows (so the user can choose winrm, ssh, or psrp)
