Goal
Providing a mechanism that will allow integration of third party IPAM solutions with OpenShift Virtualization
User Stories
- As a cluster administrator, I want to offload IP management of VMs connected to an overlay layer2 network to a third party systemÂ
- As an integration engineer, I need OpenShift Virtualization to allow me to propagate a specific IP address to the guest during the VM definition, in order to integrate OpenShift Virtualization with a third-party IPAM provider
Non-Requirements
- OVN Kubernetes already GA'd its own API for IP requests. The task here is only to define a supported layer for integrators
