Note on OSA Traffic Forwarding Behavior

By default, the OSA (Open Systems Adapter) card only forwards network traffic to devices that are explicitly known to it. In this context, the OSA device is aware only of those network interfaces that have been registered with it. As a result, any traffic destined for unregistered devices will not be forwarded.
