      Description of problem:

      The metrics below not reporting preference and instancetype
cnv:vmi_status_running:count
kubevirt_vmi_phase_count

      Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

      How reproducible:

       

      Steps to Reproduce:

      1.Create a VM with Rhel and choose preference.
2.Look for the metric labels preference and instanceType results
3.

      Actual results:

      <none> or <other>

      Expected results:

      The instanceType should be u1.medium or what chosen and preference should be rhel.9 or other rhel version chosen.
