Create VM from template by using registry as source, input username/password and click "Customize", create the VM, the secret is not created.

2. Select Registry
3. Input username/password for registry
4. Click Customize and then create the VM.

The problem isn't existed if creating the VM via "Quick Create VirtualMachine"
