Description of problem:
$subject, at present there is no reference to the ControllerRevisions associated with a VM that contain copies of any referenced instance type and preference. See the following upstream docs for more, I'm not sure if this was ever replicated downstream: https://kubevirt.io/user-guide/user_workloads/instancetypes/#versioning These should be listed here as needing to be labelled in order for a valid recovery to take place.
