To Do
Goal
Allow the user to use prepopulated unattend xml file in create vm UI for setting basic informations and skipping OOBE (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Out-of-box_experience) in windows VM.
Currently user has ability to attach user's own unattend xml during the creation of windows VM. There should be a way how UI can offer pregenerated xml (example https://gitlab.cee.redhat.com/dholler/example-vms/-/blob/main/windows11.yml#L46), which will set basic informations for the user and the user will be able to use the VM without OOBE.
The xml should enable RDP inside windows, so user can use e.g. Remmini to connect via RDP without the need to configure anything inside Windows.
User Stories
- As a user creating windows VM I would like to use pregenerated unattend xml file, which will preset all necessary informations (like language, account name, account password, enable RDP, ...) which will allow to skip Windows OOBE and allows the user to use VM without setting anything.
