      • Successful deployment and testing of MTV versions 2.6.6 and 2.7.0 on CNV versions 4.15, 4.16, and later.
      • Support execution for different environments such as vSphere 7, 8, and OVA testing.
      • All necessary resources and environment prerequisites are available and functional.
      • Deployment jobs are stable and can handle new MTV and CNV versions without resource-related failures.

Enhance the MTV CI integration with CNV CI to improve deployment efficiency, support for newer versions, and parallel testing capabilities. This epic aims to streamline the integration process, expand support for various environments, and address resource limitations.

This Epic focuses on the integration of MTV CI with CNV CI. The goal is to extend the current CI capabilities by supporting additional environments, improving the deployment process. This integration will also involve addressing resource constraints and ensuring that the CI system can handle new versions of MTV and CNV effectively.

      MTV & CNV Version Mapping

      • Map MTV versions to corresponding CNV versions for streamlined CI processes.
      • Ensure compatibility and testing for versions 4.15+.

      Deployment Enhancements

      • Improve deployment jobs, including `deploy-cnv-4.*-on-rhos-ipi`.
      • Add support for `qemtv-03` resource in deployment jobs.
      • Extend support for deploying MTV on new versions and environments.

      Test Jobs Improvements

      • Expand testing capabilities to support execution for different environments such as vSphere 7, 8, and OVA testing.
      • Enable testing scenarios for OCP-to-OCP, OVA, and environment preservation after migration.
      • Enhance the ability to trigger tests automatically or manually for debugging.

      Environment Prerequisites

      • Ensure that all necessary environments (vSphere, Ovirt, Openstack) and storage types (Ceph-rbd, Standard CSI, NFS-CSI) are prepared and supported.
      • Address any license issues for shared resources like vSphere.

      Resource Management

      • Address the lack of resources (e.g., `qemtv-03.rhos-psi.cnv-qe.rhood.us`) that hinder cluster creation.
      • Ensure the CI environment has sufficient resources to handle new deployments.

      Reporting

      • Improve reporting by integrating with with ReportPortal.
      • Improve tracking via Jira integration.
