      • Hosted Control Plane Kubevirt cluster created from ACM needs network ip assignment for nodes (kubevirt vms).
      • There is a kubevirt HCP cluster created. The worker nodes by default uses the pod network of underlying OCP cluster. I see there is an option to attach an additional network interface on kubevirt VMs while creating cluster. As per the doc:
      • 1.7.11.6.1. Adding multiple networks to a node pool.

      https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_advanced_cluster_management_for_kubernetes/2.10/html-single/clusters/index#add-multiple-networks-hosted-clusters-nodepool

      • But, this will only add network interface with NAD to kubevirt VMs, it doesnt have capability to assign an IP to Kubevirt VMs like how a pod network IP is assigned on the same VMs.
      • Request a feature where we can configure an external IP on attached external network on kubevirt VMs while creating a Kubevirt hosted control plane openshift cluster on Openshift.
      • This would also include configuration of the default GW and DNS.
