      Goal

Add an option to clone from snapshot in the UI

      User Stories

      • As a VM owner I would like to be able to clone from snapshot in the UI

      UX design doc

      https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ovuHz7kJ0T9ZaGnrVOj3zgeJSMSnk2OoIgZhhVwlC_k/edit#heading=h.5gbmlqdgw69f

      Non-Requirements

      • List of things not included in this epic, to alleviate any doubt raised during the grooming process.

      Notes

There are two main elements to this epic:

      • Boot sources can now take the form of a VoluneSnapshot or a PVC so we must make sure that the "Source Available" badge still appears when the boot source is a VolumeSnapshot
      • Depending on what the UXD team says, we may want to indicate whether a boot source is backed by a PVC or VolumeSnapshot
      • Add VolumeSnapshot option in the 'AddBootableVolume' modal, Customize page, and VM add disks modal.
