instead of a high number of NNCPs on a few nodes, try testing a few NNCP on many nodes. This would cover the recommended bridge CNI configuration under CNV, where we set VLANs on NAD. Scaling the number of nodes is also something that knmstate should be optimized for. And high number of NNCEs is something that would put far more stress on nmstate's cluster-wide status synchronization.
