Goal
Currently, persistent storage for vTPM is implemented as a volume within a VM, but this is ignored by the snapshot mechanism, thus these VMs cannot have a snapshot taken. Since VMs using NVRAM use the same storage mechanism, they too are unable to be snapshotted or cloned.
User Stories
- As a workload owner, I would like to have the ability to snapshot VMs that use vTPM so that a cloned VM might also be able to take advantage of vTPM.
Non-Requirements
- List of things not included in this epic, to alleviate any doubt raised during the grooming process.
