Goal
Document shared disks so that users will understand how they can be used for certain specialized workloads.
User Stories
- As a VM owner I want to configure a block mode VM disk to be shared so that I can connect it to multiple VMs at the same time for use with cluster-aware applications deployed in a group of VMs (such as a database or clustered filesystem)
- As a VM owner I want to configure a scsi lun backed block mode VM disk as a shared disk with scsi persistent reservation so that I can use advanced scsi commands such as are needed when implementing Windows Failover Clustering)
