Goal
We will like to add the possibility to expose the downwardMetrics through a virtio-serial channel in a fully documented and supported way.
User Stories
*As a VM owner, I want that the downwardMetrics are provided inside the VM through a serial channel, so that the applications can use the same interface in multiple virtualization environments.
