Objective:

• This test plan aims to ensure that the upgrade from RHEL 8.6-based CNV (and OCP) to RHEL 9.0-based CNV (and OCP) can be carried out with minimal disruption to the control plane and workloads.
• The plan also addresses live migrations from the previous version to the new RHEL 9.0-based CNV, and how machine types will be handled.
• Full T2 regression tests on both supported CNI (SDN/OVN)

Possible scenarios:

• Live Migration from RHEL 8.6-based CNV to RHEL 9.0-based CNV.
• Upgrade CNV to RHEL 9.0 without significantly disrupting the control plane and workloads.
• Tier 0 and Tier 1 testing of RHEL 9.0-based CNV.
